WWII WALTHAM # CDIA US NAVY MARINES ARMY AIRCRAFT COCKPIT 8 DAY CLOCK - WORKS!!!

Up for auction is this terrific WWII US Waltham Model CDIA fighter aircraft 8 day clock with 24 hour dial and civil date dial.  Used mostly by US Navy in WWII but also used by the Marines and Army Air Force.  Generally used in fighter airplanes.  In very nice cosmetic condition and, although we are not experts, seems to be in good running condition (could need some adjustment but, once again, our knowledge of this is limited!).  Back marked with military Contract No. 84106, F.S.S.C. No. 88-C-590, as well as manufacturer (WALTHAM WATCH Co.) and Manufacturer's part No. (CDIA).  Brass dials and date sets are intact.  Measures about 3 1/8 inches wide.  A great piece in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
