Description
Original WWII letters sent from a woman in a CA sanatorium for tuberculosis to a soldier just at the end of the war.Letters range from August- December 1945.
Written by Millicent Clarke, who met Albert Gunning in Luzon, from what I gathered. When she first writes to him she mentions Manila, where he was stationed before coming home.
There are three photos of Millicent that she mailed to him.
There are also a collection of notes and letters that belonged to Albert from 1939-1945 from friends and family members. Includes an ID card with his Columbus, Ohio address, and one photo of him.
In all there are 15 letters from Millicent, and 29 letters from other people.
I am also including the paper with his genealogical information that I pieced together.
A great WWII lot with a riveting story.
