This is a rare chance to own an original piece of a World War Two USN Consolidated PBY Catalina seaplane. This is a WW2 USN Consolidated PBY Catalina Seaplane Pilot's Rudder Pedal Set. The pedals are in  good condition as removed but several small parts are damaged. The pedals were recently repainted . The Left Pedal is 23 x 8 x 11 inches and the right pedal is 10 x 12 x 21 inches.  The PBY Catalina seaplane was designed as a ASW and search and rescue patrol aircraft. Its large size allowed it to stay aloft for long periods at a time. The PBY was was the patrol aircraft that found the Japanese fleet during the famous Battle of Midway. The PBY was also flown by the USCG, US Army Air Force, the Canadians, New Zealand, Australia, Dominican Republic and the British. It was also called the 0A-10A, the Black Cat, and the Canso. Today there are still several PBY's that fly. Most had been used as firebombers at one time. This item is being sold as a collectable.
