    Description

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Ehrenpokal Honor Goblet!  This was presented on October 6, 1942 to Leutnant Wilhem Fuller of 3./NAG102!
Established in February 1940, the Ehrenpokal was awarded b y the authority of Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering to Luftwaffe personnel for “Special Achievement in the Air War”.  The design is based on the WW1 Goblet, and was crafted by the Joh. Wagner & Sohn, Berlin, which was the sole manufacture.  This award was between the 1st Class Iron Cross and the German Cross in Gold or Knight’s Cross.  Early variants were made of .835 Silver, and later model (around 1942) were made out of “Alpaka”.
Flugzeugfuhrer Oberleutnant Wilhelm Fuller wa a pilot with 3./NAG102 (Nahaufklärungsgeschwader 102), which was a Reconnaissance Squadron.  He was killed on December 20, 1943, in his Me109 G6 (W.Nr. 15631), which suffered from mechanical/operational failure over Juterbog-Damm.
Made of Alpaka, this Goblet is
an AMAZING one of a kind item!
