Vintage SILVER PLATE on COPPER Water Pitcher w Grape Leaf Motif - Unmarked SHEFFIELD? 9 IN. w Ice Lip
From a
local estate:  Charming silver plate water pitcher measures 9 inches tall, the arched handle measures 9.75 inches tall.
Needs further cleaning especially around the grape vine trim that surrounds the top of the pitcher.  Small discoloration on handle - see pix. Inside is copper.
No makers mark - though it is stamped on the bottom in a circle "SILVER OVER COPPER".  According to an article on Worthpoint, the vast majority of Sheffield silver plate is unmarked.  It seems very well made and there is no copper showing through.
