This is a extra nice example of a a Vintage Miller Falls Lyon Brace No 772. 10 inch sweep Heavy duty,  ratcheting Hand Drill Bit Brace. Made In USA. Condition is excellent. The chuck is the famous Lion ball Bearing type and the jaws are the Leland patented universal that works with older tapered auger bits as well as newer round bits.
This bit brace has been lubricated and Tested. no apologies for this fine tool. Excellent condition.
This bit brace is circa 1925-30 or so, approx 90 years old. Will make a fine user or collectible.
The handles are beautiful tropical hardwood and are also in great condition.
