    Description

On December 10 2020, Ukrposhta put into circulation a postage stamp with the symbol of the coming year according to the Eastern calendar - a bull. The brand was created in partnership with Art Nation, which owns the rights to the Prima Maria art brand. The plot for the new postage stamp was Maria Prymachenko's painting "Blue Bull" (1947). In the performance of the master of Ukrainian "naive art", the bull, which is a symbol of fertility, appears in the form of a star-spangled creature with a crown and a lush beard.
"The images of Maria Primachenko are filled with symbols of natural energy. Now they are integrated into the postage stamp and add additional content to the letters that people send to each other. We are glad that the collaboration with Ukrposhta gives us the opportunity to remind Ukrainians of the rich creative legacy that the talented artist left behind. Maria Prymachenko created a whole world of amazing animals, but it was the "Blue Bull" that was chosen as the symbol of 2021. It is a pleasure to be involved in the project, the result of which was the birth of a new symbolic brand", - general producer of Art Nation Eduard Akhramovych.
