    Description

    Castor / Cruet set coming directly from an estate where it has been for the past 50 years.  Highly unusual with the Collie dog finial.  Set belonged to a man who collected unusual antiques over his lifetime in Brooklyn, NY.
    The set is in great condition.  Since the dog finial is so unusual, I am not sure that this wasn't a "creation" from other parts.  It is strong and works well.  The set is not marked, but of a high quality.  Clean and ready for display.
