A truly fabulous and flamboyant pair of silver plate salts. Beautifully decorated and finely detailed pair of chased salt cellars depicting Neptune the god of water / sea and Amphitrite . The quality of casting and chasing workmanship is second to none. Both riding fearsome looking fish and holding shell salt vessels. The pair are both stamped BERGM. The male measures 6 inches tall and the female 7 inches and are extremely heavy over 4 pounds. In excellent condition. Sterling Salt spoons are included . A real show stopper!
