    Description

    100% Original Lockheed P-38 Lightning rear view mirror assembly. To be mounted to the outside of the canopy above the pilot's head.
    If you keep getting snuck up on by enemy aircraft, you need this. Check your six.
    No damage but possible very slight storage wear.  The plastic fairing is covered in protective wax and is presumably near mint under it.  The mirror assembly is not covered in wax.  The mirror is a "first surface" mirror -- and is undamaged.  The mirror hinges. Hinges are undamaged.
    The box is very worn.  I think all the original packing material is present.  The label on the box is very worn and dislodged.  The same label appears on the fairing itself, and it is fully legible.
    I would rather not remove the protective wax, but this can be negotiated.
