    Description

    We are offering for sale a newly reconditioned La Monte tenor saxophone with hard case.  Serial number C7483.  Horn has had a repad with Selmer style domed plastic resonator pads and all new corks, felts, and springs where needed.  Plays with a robust sound.  I play tested with a 10mfan Robusto mouthpiece and also a vintage Berg Larsen.  The Robusto produced a fat lush sound and the Berg a little brighter.  Body is in excellent condition with a few hard to find dings.  Lacquer is not factory but should hold up well with reasonable care.
