The Kodak Boy Scout was a colored variant of the
Vest Pocket Kodak
that was introduced in 1929 . The basic Kodak Boy Scout vest pocket was a compact folding camera. The body featured a wrinkled green leather covering to the body. The olive drab green color was repeated on a matching case and bellows. Boy Scout logo on the front of the camera. Conventional folding bed camera for 127 film, based upon the Vest Pocket Kodak Model B, but in green colors. The complete folding section, including the bed, is formed as a single piece that then fits into the roll film back. The two have to be separated to load and remove the film. Production from 1929 – 1933. Meniscus Lens. Rotary Shutter.
