    Kodak RETINA I - #126 - KODAK ANASTIGMAT lens {1:3.5 - f=5cm} - RARE - circa 1936-7

    Condition: "Used/Vintage" -- offered "as is".
    Manufactured circa 1936-7 for Kodak in Germany, this model camera was the first in the Retina series to be made with a chrome top plate (see picture #4).
    The rest of the bright work is nickel finish.
    Comes with screw-in shutter release plunger (rarely found) - see photos #2&3.
    Compur-Rapid shutter is operable, but sticky at lower speeds.
    Diaphragm is operable and adjusts smoothly.
    Lens shows light haze consistent with its age.
    Overall, an excellent specimen that will greatly please the Retina collector.
