Early, ca. 1951 Boeing B-47B Stratofortress Training Manual, ID'd Chief Engineer
We are excited to offer this important piece of Military and Aviation history from the Estate of Chester 'Chet' Zielke. Chet's career began at Stearman aircraft and later Boeing in the late 1930's where he became one of primary engineers on the B-29 before entering WW2. Following the war Chester worked as one of the Chief Engineers on both the B-47 and B-52 development programs. This Manual was issued ca. 1951 to Chet and numbered #6 making this one of the earliest numbered copies I have seen of this manual. It is complete in its' original binding. The manual itself is nearly 2 3/4" Thick and is in exceptional condition. Don't miss the opportunity to own this piece of aviation history today!
