    Description

    Complete, Original Victory Correspondence Kit from 1942-1943.
    This appears to be an extremely rare find - a complete, unused kit in relatively good shape!
    I personally found this item in an old, abandoned log home in Michigan in 1986 and have kept it in storage ever since. I have tried to find comparable items by doing online searches and searches here on ebay and could not find any complete kits like this one. In my research, I have found some other items and letters that resemble this, but are "V-Mail" correspondence items.
    Could this be an "executive-level" correspondence kit?? We have not seen any others like this anywhere!
    About the item; (please refer to the photos included in this listing.
    Outer Cardboard Wrap
    The kit comes in a blue and white cardboard outer wrap (open on both ends). This outer wrap shows some wear. It states the following;
    "This Package Contains: 50 Sheets of Writing Paper - 25 Envelopes - 25 Correspondence Cards - Book for Stamps and Addresses".
    Inner Fold-Out Kit
    Slide off the exterior cardboard wrap and you have a beautiful blue inner fold-out kit. There is the seal of an Eagle on the front side, and at the bottom it says "Victory Correspondence Kit". The reverse has a tab which tucks into itself to keep the kit closed. It appears to be made of cardboard. Un-tuck the tab and open the kit and you will find;
    A pad of paper on the right with a cover
    . The cover says "Victory Correspondence Kit" and has a calendar printed on it showing 1942 and 1943. There is also a photo of the inside of the notepad which shows the royal blue color of the back of the notepad cover.
    Post Cards
    : A pack of post cards is in the top left. The cards are inside a cardboard enclosure. We did not open the post cards for fear of damaging the enclosure.
    Address Book
    : There is a small "Address Book" which is tucked into a slit in the cardboard enclosure which holds envelopes. It can easily be removed.
    Envelopes
    : The Envelopes are inside a cardboard enclosure which also holds the address book. The enclosure appears to have been glues in place, but the glue has since dried up and the enclosure no longer adheres to the inner fold-out.
    This item is being sold "As-is", so please inspect the photos carefully. Please contact me should you have any questions.
