    Description

Buescher Elk Hart Alto Saxophone, Model 20A Serial #80933, Recent Complete Repad and Re-Spring
With a 80933 serial number and other clues dating from roughly 1954, the 20A altos were made to Buescher's notoriously high specifications and, especially in this example, have aged very well.
Recently worked over by the Evanston Band and Orchestra Company of Skokie, Illinois with a complete re-padding and new springs, this sax responds to every demand at every skill level with a round, luxuriant tone.
The original engraving on the bell is in pristine, original, high-definition condition.
    Bell diameter is 4.625".
It includes an original case that could use some airing out, a Cannonball neck strap (as well as its original vintage strap), a Perfections mouthpiece, ligature, music holder, a La Voz reed (came in a box of 6 for 90 cents!), a very vintage cleaning cloth and a Micro Sax Kit ("You Cannot Afford to be Without One") containing various corks, pads, cement and grease--a .00 value back in the day!
The saxophone stand in the pictures is not included.
Case measures 24"x5"x10" and weighs, with the sax and accessories, 11.5 lbs.
Local pickup or free delivery in the Chicago metropolitan area is available.
