DESCRIPTION:
ANTQ QUIMBY S. BACKUS No.8 BIT BRACE/ HAND DRILL PATENT 1872
CONDITION:
Some wear and light age toning. In very descent shape for a used brace drill, the jaws seem to work very well but could use some oil to loosen. operates as it should for a tool made over 100 yrs ago. It is in descent shape and is semi clean. The words are very faint but can be read. The pictures do this tool no justice. It will need to be cleaned up. tool has some pitting, minor surface rust, and scratches. It is a used tool and was used as intended.
For Display or for use will be a nice addition to your collection.
