    Description

    Up for auction is this antique
    KODAK NO.2 FOLDING POCKET BROWNIE MODEL B
    which belonged to my father-in-law.
    Although we didn't test the camera, my husband did notice two things.
    The shutter opens and closes but sticks and is not completely closed at rest.  The lever will close the shutter but it opens slightly when the lever is released.  You can see the opening in one of the pictures.  The shutter mechanism might require application of oil.
    The bellows move freely but don't lock unless fully extended.  We can hear a click.  We don't know enough to know if this is normal or not.
    Apart from the missing strap, the case is in very good condition as you'll see from the pictures.   The back view shows the original film take-up spool.   We believe my father-in-law was the original owner.   It's been in our possession since the 1970s.
    The camera is sold 'as is'.
