Antique Victorian Wilcox Quadruple Plated Ornate Botanical Calling Card Tray

Description

Lovely and ornate, this is a calling card tray, or stand, by Wilcox Silver Co.  Of the Victorian age, it features a botanical inspired theme with charming details throughout.
Tray is embellished with a lovely repousse floral bouquet in one corner and held aloft with flower stems and leaves.  It has aged well overall retaining its rich luster.  Wear is present that includes character adding patina and it appears that one leaf has departed its stem.  It stands about 4 ½” in total height (to the top of a flower petal) and the tray is about 6 ½” across.
It would be a lovely addition to a collection and fabulous in décor.
