Description
Antique silver-plate teapot produced by Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. in Wallingford CT. between 1866 and 1895. Their mark appears on the bottom.Pattern number is 2000 as marked. Each of 4 legs represents a deer head, antlers, with leg and hoof. Intricate design.8.5 inches high x 9” long x 5.5” wide. Monogrammed. A similar piece was identified with market value between 5 -0. Some polishing residue. Small indentation at bottom on makers mark, one to lower right side of the "P" monogram, and one near the lid. Slight damage to the spout (Top offset to right)(See pictures)
