Antique Silver Trinket Box Simpson Hall Miller Treble Plate Ivy 19thc Aesthetic
Offering a lovely Silver Treble Plate Hinged Box by
Simpson Hall Miller & Co. Wallingford Conn
. (Stamped on Bottom). Incised
Ivy
design on top.  Four "sabre" legs crowned with florals and scrolls gracefully elevate the box. Elegant curved raised handle.  Very pleasing shape with angled cover and base.
In excellent antique condition. No dings. No dents. Hinges are firm. Opens and closes easily and securely. Very lightly tarnished. Previous owner was a "perfectionist."  She probably had this resilvered. It is in wonderful condition.
Approx. measurements.  Cover-- 5 1/4" by 3 3/4"  3 1/2" h. to top of handle.
