    Description

    This wonderful cylindrical antique silver plated teapot was made by John Sherwood & Sons of Birmingham, England around 1890. The teapot, with a fixed handle, measures approximately 7 inches hight (to the top of the handle) and is 4 inches in dimeter.  The bottom smarted with the John Sherwood & Sons mark for EPNS and the stock number “5442.” The lid on the teapot opens to the side. The teapot is in very good condition consistent with normal wear and use. Slight dings and one touch of plating loss to the lid (see photos). A very attractive piece.
