    Description

    Antique Derby Silver Quadruple Plated Soup Tureen
    Beautifully detailed estate piece.  It has some wear and pitting but still an attractive tureen worthy of re-plating. It stands 8.5" high from base to cover's finial top.  It is 14" wide from handle edge to handle edge.  The oval base measures about 6" by 5".  Made in Connecticut around the turn of the 19th century.
