    Description

    These five issues of
    Air Trails Pictorial
    take the reader from the ending months of WWII to discussion of a post-war world of aviation. Issues included are March, July and November of 1945, and January and September of 1946. The publication measures about 10½” x 13¼” with 102 pages per issue. Illustrated. Overall moderate wear, with most wear on edges of covers; March 1945 issue has group of 4 pages loose in center and what looks like some pencil coloring on the cover (see last picture). Great variety of articles, from “Germany’s Secret War Planes” to “Atomic Powered Planes” and possible future flights at “1,000 Miles an Hour.” Here is a glimpse of the past that pointed to the future!
