    Description

    DESCRIPTION:
    The amber beads have inclusions and end caps are embossed detailed metal that is brass and copper tones.
    I'm not certain the exact composition of the metals.
    Back is signed Roma Italy.
    There are dark honey amber beads as well as yellow shade larger beads.
    Beautifully designed, there is an oxblood red enamel like filling behind the body of Christ.
    At each end of the cross are he four symbols of eagle, angel, bull and lion. There is a tiny skull beneath the feet of Christ.
    Very detailed and ornate, I have never seen another like it nor could I find one on the internet.
    Beads measure: approximately 1/4" by 1/4" for the smaller beads, and 5/8" for the larger yellow amber beads.
    Length: around the inside of the circle of beads: approximately 42"
    Inches: length from top of medallion to top of cross:  6"
    Measurement: Crucifix cross from top to bottom:  2 5/8" by 1 5/8".
    In good vintage condition as photos show.
    I do not clean vintage rosary beads as many buyers prefer the original patina, or have a personally preferred method of how to clean vintage jewelry.
