    Description

    For sale is a vintage application for family allowance that was submitted by a US Army soldier during World War II. The serviceman was Pvt. Glen Ernest Miller. It is dated June 1, 1942, and was mailed to Mrs. Joy Miller in Olney, Illinois. Made of postcard stock, this card measures 5 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches when unfolded and is in very good condition.
