A tough 1872 CC key date seated liberty dollar graded VG 10 by PCGS. This Carson City Mint date is very tough to find in any grade level, especially having been certified as problem free such as this one. It holds great detail for the grade level with a matching patina among both sides. The reverse looks like a fine to very fine grade coin but the obverse detail we believe it what holds it back. This tough coin has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This Carson City Mint date holds a total mintage of only 3,150. Of this tiny mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 400 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 17 graded Very Good 10 by PCGS.
