Perfect Strike 1868 Proof Seated Liberty Dollar in old green PCGS "rattler". Ex Byron Reed Collection. I have personally owned the coin since the mid-1990s in my private collection. I believe it should grade PR65. True, it is not a cameo proof, but it is a perfect strike. This is a rare coin. Of the 600 minted, how many remain? You will see a lot of impaired proofs out there, but not too many old PCGS graded green labels! A true investment. The coin speaks for itself.
Any imperfections you see are on the plastic encapsulation.
