    Description

    Up for auction is an 1864 Liberty Seated Dollar graded by PCGS as XF-40.
    Slate-gray surfaces give way to gold toning in the fields and gown folds.
    Bright light inspection reveals some aquamarine along the periphery.
    Suprizingly few small contact marks are noted, as many are often seen on these large coins.
    Coin has a nice, original look to it, as this series is overly prone to dipping /cleaning.
    Accurately graded, in my opinion, as well.
    Tough date to find decent.
